River Haven on the Wolf strives to retain the values and traditions that the history of the Haven is built upon – values such as family, hospitality, holisticness, and a connection to nature. River Haven on the Wolf hopes to instill these feelings into their guests to inspire them to return and re-experience the Haven, creating memories and traditions of their own.
Robert & Caitlin McNitt purchased River Haven in December of 2018. Originally from Kohler, Wisconsin, Caitlin has 14 years of Health and Wellness experience with her successful Beauty line business, Olivü 426, located in Sheboygan, WI. Olivü 426 has been presented at award shows honoring the Oscars, Emmy's and Golden Globes. You will find touches of Olivü 426 throughout the cabin, including in the amenities Caitlin leaves for each guest. In 2016, Caitlin & Robert began a camper rental business, Point Creek Rv Rentals and have seen a lot of growth with that company as well, expanding to a fleet of 8 units. "It seemed a natural step to transition from the business of pampering and beauty to a business of Cabin Rentals", says Caitlin. "Once you know what customers come to love and expect, you can take care of them on many different levels. We enjoy bringing unexpected touches to River Haven in a way that is good for the soul." Robert is currently employed at the City of Sheboygan and can fix just about anything. He's the perfect Handyman for River Haven. Caitlin & Robert enjoy spending time with their 3 children, Gavin, who is now grown, Truman and Charlei. They enjoy fishing, camping and traveling. They especially enjoy the time the spend at River Haven when they can.

We had a group of 12 friends stay here, and it was extremely comfortable for everyone. We all thought the cabin was amazing and really enjoyed spending time on the patio, playing games in the yard, and sitting around the fire pit at night. Since we all come from the city it was a great spot to get away and really enjoy being around some nature. We had a lot of amenities that you don't often find in more secluded areas, which made our overall stay easier. The host was very responsive for any questions we had before and during our stay, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall this was a great spot for our larger group to stay and have a fun vacation at.

The river and scenery behind the house was gorgeous. We saw a bald eagle in the back yard as well. Fire pit is large, the grill is nice, and the bugs were not bad. Beds were comfy and the kitchen has everything you'll need to cook. We hiked on the path north of the river starting at the M Bridge and it did not disappoint. Pretty amazing views along that trail.

Great location, truly wonderful rustic lodge on a great river. Ski, fish, paddle all near by. Wonderful place. Overall, great house, wonderful hosts, super clean, amazing location, perfect for what we desired. Super nice host. Great views. Felt very homey for the holiday dinner. Nicely decorated for us. This was a special touch. Internet worked, TV worked nicely and while the speed was a challenge, in this rural environment, I think they pulled off an amazing technical feat. The other guests were gleeful to see the property. Kitchen worked well to host a large dinner or two. We all Loved the little soaps, and bath accessories etc. Enjoyed the little history info pieces about the place. Will stay again, if we all come back to the area.

This property is so wonderful in every way that almost don't what to give the spectacular review it absolutely deserves because I'll have a harder time finding open dates to go back! The amenities are amazing! The views are breathtaking, and the gardens on the property are simply gorgeous. Inside, the owners have thought of everything to make your trip feel as special as possible. We definitely will be back!

The yard and cabin were beautiful! Very clean and comfy! Had everything there we ever needed! Hot tub and deck were so nice to enjoy. And we went river rafting at Js landing and Shotgun Eddys which were both less than 10 mins away. So fun! We definitely recommend Riverhaven to anyone!!!!!!!

Secluded in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, River Haven on the Wolf is one of the premier destinations in the area. From the history of the cabin to the location on the Wolf River, the amenities and the quiet of the woods, it makes for the perfect family retreat. We were lucky enough to have an amazingly beautiful fall weekend and ventured out on some of the nearby hiking trails. This is the perfect place for your family, friends or romantic getaway.
